In the films we see so little of it. It’s mostly brief scenes where the surroundings are mostly what looks like scrub and scraggly hills in the distance. One can imagine that the vast majority of the planet is covered in water, yet it’s not a lush ecosystem like you might imagine it. How do you encapsulate a place you only see for mere minutes?
Moving from concept to execution was a bit of a struggle personally. There’s so much nuance in the soft blue and sagey greens. I didn’t want to lose the muted-ness but it also felt like it needed something a bit more.
Caladan is a variegated blue-green with darker sage speckles and areas of brighter blue.

Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry. Slight bleeding on first was may occur but should be minimal.
