The latest, or youngest, artwork in this set would of course be something from the incomparable Georgia O’Keefe. O’Keefe truly pushed the boundaries on painting botanical figures and even became a foundational part of how southwestern style art sees itself. Of the nearly 200 flowers she painted in her lifetime, my favorite are her series of Black Irises, with particular fondness for Black Iris VI pictured here.
Black Iris is available on 100% Merino fingering, merino/nylon sock, and DK.
